HOW DO I PAY FOR MY RIDE?

Hometown Transportation accepts cash, personal checks and all major credit cards. Following your ride, a receipt can be emailed or texted to you for credit card payments. Please let us know how you would like to pay when booking your appointment.

DOES INSURANCE HELP ME PAY FOR A RIDE?

Insurance providers all have varying policies and coverages, so we recommend contacting your insurance company directly for details. Hometown Transportation will provide you with an invoice to turn into your insurance company following your ride if requested.

HOW FAR IN ADVANCE DO I NEED TO BOOK MY RIDE? 

We prefer if you book your ride at least 24-48 hours before your pick-up time. Hometown Transportation can also accommodate same day rides if we have availability. To inquire about same day rides, please call us at : (419) 962-9405. We will do our best to assist you!

CAN MY CAREGIVER RIDE WITH ME?

Yes! Hometown Transportation allows one passenger to ride along at no additional cost in all wheelchair accessible vehicles.

CAN MY DRIVER ATTEND MY DOCTOR APPOINTMENT WITH ME? 

Yes. Our staff members are licensed medical professionals who can assist you in understanding information your doctor may provide as well as ask questions to improve your understanding and experience. If you would like a staff member to act as a support professional, please let us know when you book your ride.

DOES HOMETOWN TRANSPORTATION OFFER RIDES FOR ANY AGE GROUP? 

Yes. We specialize in transporting elderly with mobility challenges, however we are here to assist clients of any age!

WHAT HAPPENS IF I MUST CANCEL MY RIDE? 

Please call Hometown Transportation as soon as you know you need to cancel a booked ride. We can reschedule you as needed. Call us at 419-962-9405. We have a same day cancellation fee of $75 and an on scene cancellation fee of $125.
